The name "Malangdows" is derived from the Korean word "Malang," meaning soft, squishy, or flexible, combined with the familiar suffix "dows." While traditional OSs can be rigid and heavy, Malangdows aims to be lightweight, adaptable, and instantly accessible from any device with a web browser.

• Desktop Interface: Experience true multitasking with a fully functional window manager. You can drag, drop, resize, maximize, and minimize windows just like you would on a native desktop. This allows you to work with multiple tools simultaneously—calculate percentages while converting units and checking your IP address—all on one screen.
• Client-Side Privacy: In an era of increasing data surveillance, Malangdows takes a privacy-first approach. We operate on a strict "offline-first, client-side only" architecture. Your data, whether it's the text you are counting, the images you are converting, or the settings you customize, never leaves your device. We do not store your inputs on our servers.
• Persistence & State Management: Innovative use of LocalStorage and SessionStorage ensures that your workspace is preserved. If you accidentally close the tab or browser, you can return to find your sticky notes, window positions, and active tools exactly where you left them.
• Zero-Install: As a Progressive Web App (PWA), Malangdows can be installed on your device for an app-like experience, but it requires no heavy downloads or administrative privileges. It updates instantly and silently in the background.

Getting Started Guide

Your journey begins at the 'Start Menu' located in the bottom-left corner. Here you will find our comprehensive suite of utilities categorized for easy access. The desktop area is your canvas; right-click anywhere to manage your workspace, create new folders (coming soon), or add sticky notes for quick reminders. The taskbar at the bottom manages your active windows, allowing you to switch contexts instantly. For a personalized touch, visit the 'Settings' app to change your wallpaper, switch between Dark and Light themes, or adjust the system language.
